5. Upgrade Weapons and Gear
Leveling up your character is important, but upgrading your weapons is just as crucial. A +5 or +10 weapon can dramatically increase your damage output.
Smithing Stones are used to upgrade standard weapons.
Somber Smithing Stones are for special (named) weapons.
Visit Smithing Master Hewg at the Roundtable Hold for consistent upgrades.

6. Use Runes Wisely
Runes are Elden Ring’s currency for both leveling and purchasing. If you die, you drop them, and you get one chance to retrieve them.
